Many more cool people have purchased tickets at Graydog's in Carbondale. Students from SIU, especially foreign students going to St. Louis and students from the U.S. going to home or to another college campus to see a friend.

Truck drivers with a ticket to their next job come to Graydog's almost daily. And Department of Corrections will buy tickets for recently released prisoners, several per week.

Occasionally we get someone who's stranded, betrayed by a loved one, or employer. These people are often referred to Good Samaritan house in Carbondale, which is funded by the City of Carbondale and other funding sources, including churches.

Mary and Susan, Kevin and there rest of the crew do a commendable job helping people in need: with daily meals, some shelter and a ticket out of town, if warranted.
