Back on schedule

The buses are back on schedule, stopping in front of the Amtrak train sttion, 401 S. Illinois Ave., Carbondale, IL.

10:10am - St. Louis, Chicago, and points North, West, and East

8:05pm - Nashville, and points South, East and West.

10:55pm - St. Louis, Chicago, and points North, West, and East

The ticket office -- currently located at 215 N. Washington St. -- is open from Monday-Saturday 9:30 am to 11:00 and M-F afternoon 3:30 until 5:00 -- and by appointment. Phone 618-549-3495.

Schedule 4700 not running today

Lucy from Vienna called early this morning to tell me that the bus from Nashville to St. Louis -- which stops in Carbondale at 10:10 a.m. will not be running today.

That's right, folks. In May, Graydog's Place will move to the BP Station on East Main St., unless . . .

February made me shiver

Despite severe snow and icy road conditions, Graydog road his bicycle to the agency office. Good thing he did, because he answered telephones and updated his answering machine with the latest bus delays.
