Camera shy duo meet doggedly digital blogger

*
Two people (mother and son) came into Graydog's BP Bus Place today who were very photogenic, as you can see. Click on their images, to learn about their new approaches w/ old school social media. Or click the asterisk between the pics to see an experiment in canine canoe travel by doggy-paddle gone bad. ;-)

Change is coming to C'dale Greyhound, too

Effective Jan. 1, Graydog (that's me) is taking a hiatus in order to complete the blook he's been trying to get written since 2005. The book, er blook, is called Carbondale After Blog, and it chronicles the life and times of yours truly in the context of local happenings, 2003-2008.

But every time I start to get a head of steam, I have to stop and go to the BP station, so people can get their tickets to ride ... to St Louis, Chicago, Nashville and many other places.

Service will not change, the buses will still run 3 times per day (St. Louis and Nashville) but customers will buy their tickets from the BP attendant, instead of at a separate Greyhound counter. The new system should actually be more effecient.

Happy trails.

alternative slogans for Greyhound

Instead of "We're On Our Way," how about,
  • The New Greyhound: What's Your Hurry?
or
  • The New Greyhound: Stop Bitching, You'll Get There Eventually
