One hour or one minute -- just don't miss the bus

People ask how early for the bus, are told one-hour before the schedule time of departure. ... This may be true in big cities, but makes no difference in a small station like ours, then between 1 and 15-minutes before is time enough, if you have your ticket and baggage checked. If you need a ticket, then a half-hour before will be time enough, unless there is extra luggage to be checked. Then 45-minutes should do it.

Graydog's travel rule of thumb #1 is "don't miss the bus."

Grand Opening plans

On Monday, September 22, Graydog's new location at the BP Greyhound will open for business in a big way with an official ribbon cutting, featuring invited guests from Carbondale, Illinois, as well as the driver and riders on the 8:05 bus to Nashville, out of St. Louis. A pleasant surprise for them. Free cheese and crackers and broccoli and dip and punch to go. Will the bus be on time?

More details as they become available will be posted to this blog.

UPDATE: October 7, 2008 -- the Grand Opening will happen when the City puts the Greyhound Bus sign on Walnut St. at Cedarview Ct. .. Since it's a state highway IDOT must approve
